The Golgi Apparatus is an organelle that takes protiens and lipids from the Endoplasmic reticulum, processes and packages them and sends them off to the needed location. It has a very interesting structure as it is a membrane bound organelle that is made up of a collection of pouches called cisternae. This organelle, like all membrane bound organelles, is only found in eukaritoic cells.
